Skill Type: One Sword Style
Skill Information: This technique is an unorthodox samurai style that Edward created. It utilizes tradition samurai practices that have been passed down from sensei to student for centuries in the Wano Country. At its core, it is a combination of ideal elegance and an unmatched bloodlust. The style is very lethal and very effective.
Skill Strengths:
- Effective Mid-Range/Close-range (100ft & Below).
- When held One-Handed (+10 to speed bonus)
- When held Two-Handed (+10 to finesse bonus)
Skill Weaknesses:
- Can’t attack at long range (150 ft)
- Weak against Heavy Armor & Heavy Weapons. (-10 to endurance, heavy weapons & -10 to strength, heavy armor)
- Can't hold a Shield: In this style the user is never allowed to use a shield, instead they use the katana as a defense and offense.
- When held Two-Handed (-10 to speed bonus)
- When held One-Handed (-10 to finesse bonus)
- Level 1 Technique :
Ability Lvl 1 Name: Tiger Lily Slash
Ability Lvl 1 Type: Close-Range, Melee Attack
Ability Lvl 1 Cooldown: 4 turns
Ability Lvl 1 Description: Edward slashes diagonally downward at the enemies gut, turning the blade and slashing diagonally upward and down again. It forms a tiger claw like wound on the enemies chest, causing excessive bleeding for one post.
Ability Lvl 1 Strengths:- Hits the target three times
- +10 speed bonus for One-Handed Style
- -5 endurance rebuff if all three slashes connect, lasts 1 post.
Ability Lvl 1 Weaknesses:- Does half damage to Heavy Armor Users
- Easily Blocked, +10 buff to opponent's endurance
- Leaves users front open
Ability Lvl 1 Name: Ghost Orchid Strike
Ability Lvl 1 Type: Mid-Range, Melee Attack
Ability Lvl 1 Cooldown: 7 Turns
Ability Lvl 1 Description: Edward kicks off the ground, leaping high into the air and suddenly vanishing from sight. He reappears back to back with the opponent having slashed them in their vital points, causing the enemy to bleed excessively for two turns.
Ability Lvl 1 Strengths:- +10 finesse bonus from Two-Handed Style
- -5 endurance rebuff from bleeding, last for two post.
- The user has hit the opponent five times.
Ability Lvl 1 Weaknesses:- -10 strength against heavy armor users
- Leaves users back open
- Opponents with +10 more reflex than skill user's speed can block it.
Ability Lvl 1 Name: Parrot Tulip Spinning Slice
Ability Lvl 1 Type: Mid-Range, Melee Attack
Ability Lvl 1 Cooldown: 5 turns
Ability Lvl 1 Description: Edward stomps off the ground charging at the enemy, spinning through the air, slicing at the enemy and landing on the ground in front of the enemy.
Ability Lvl 1 Strengths:- +10 speed bonus for One-Handed Style
- Leaves the user ready to strike the enemy
- Can charge 30ft through the air in any direction
Ability Lvl 1 Weaknesses:- An opponent more than 50ft away the attack does half-damage
- Opponents with +10 more reflex than skill user's speed can block it.
- -10 strength against heavy armor users
Ability Lvl 1 Name: Beehive Ginger Shield
Ability Lvl 1 Type: Close Range, Melee Attack/Defense
Ability Lvl 1 Cooldown: 5 turns
Ability Lvl 1 Description: Edward brings his sword over his head, when faced with multiple enemies, and gets ready to parrying there attacks and jab them with the tip of his sword into a vital point, last 3 turns.
Ability Lvl 1 Strengths:- +10 finesse bonus from Two-Handed Style
- Can defend user from up to 2 enemies
- Can pierce lvl 1 armors
Ability Lvl 1 Weaknesses:- Can only block Heavy Weapon attacks, interrupting the technique
- -10 strength against heavy armor users
- -5 finesse debuff for each enemy parried, lasts for one post.
Ability Lvl 1 Name: Dragon Daffodils Breath
Ability Lvl 1 Type: Close-Range, Melee Attack
Ability Lvl 1 Cooldown: 5 turns
Ability Lvl 1 Description: Edward stomps into the ground, gaining his footing and leaps into the air, slashing upward. On his way back to the ground he turns his sword and slashes back down the same wound, causing bleeding for one post.
Ability Lvl 1 Strengths:- +10 speed bonus for One-Handed Style
- -5 rebuff to the opponent from the bleeding, last for one post.
- Hits the target twice
Ability Lvl 1 Weaknesses:- -10 strength against heavy armor users
- Opponents with +10 more reflex than skill user's speed can block it.
- Leaves the user front open
- Hits the target three times
