Official Topics Guide to Making and Performing Revolutionary Tasks

Post by Admin Wed Nov 27, 2013 7:55 pm

So you think you're ready for change? Are you willing to put your neck on the line to see the World Government put in its place? If you're able and willing, look no further. This is a Guide to Making and Performing Revolutionary Tasks! I hope you're prepared for the troubles ahead of you.

    ~ Introduction ~

In case you've failed to decode the rumors about how we run things, here is all you need to know about revolutionary tasks. (What are they? How do they work?)

A revolutionary task is a "mission" or "job" in which one revolutionary or a group of revolutionaries work towards a goal. This goal is usually something illegal,

Revolutionaries Go against the World Government in order to bring peace or War to benefit the cause. You Will be gaining bounty through each Task you do whether it be bad or good because the government does not want an uprising among its people. With Each task you will get closer and closer to becoming a well know Revolutionary and steps closer to changing the world as we know it.

As a revolutionary, your bounty is the equivalent to EXP. You will constantly acquire a higher bounty as long as you keep doing revolutionary tasks! This also means that you will be able to access higher level revolutionary tasks to further increase your bounty when you reach the proper level.

    ~ Revolutionary Task Levels ~

There are three types of Revolutionary Tasks.

Upstart Tasks: These tasks are designed for those new to fighting a revolution. They consist of simple or easy jobs that any willing citizen can do, given just a little time or skill. Examples of this kind of task would be helping hands to fellow civilians, transporting goods safely across the seas, disrupting small marine forces, attacking a marine recruit, ect. These tasks are nominal for Upstarts that are inexperienced and could never hold a candle to a Coup Specialist or Usurper.

Coup Specialist Tasks: Tasks of this level are reserved for seasoned revolutionist that know how to handle themselves (and others, on occasion) to a degree. Jobs like these are compiled of difficult or complicated jobs that not many revolutionist could successfully complete. Tasks of this quality involve such things like assassinating important people, stealing marine equipment that benefits the fight, Leading civilians into a rebellion, Protecting citizens from a pirate or marine attack, attacking Senior or large groups of marine recruits, ect.

Usurper Tasks: Usurper Tasks: Tasks of this level are only accessible by revolutionary fighters of the highest caliber. In terms of strength, speed, intellect, or power, they are rivaled by few and surpass many. Encountering (and pissing off) a Revolutionary of this level usually will end up with you buried 6 feet deep. Jobs that only these elite fighters can perform are so difficult or insane that they will be talked about for years, and cause an uproar in the world government. Tasks of this caliber include taking over an entire Marine base, sinking a fleet of Marine vessels, Defending an Island from a buster call, Assassinating a Celestial Dragon, attacking an Elite Marine,  Several Senior level or any army of marine recruits, taking over and entire island, ect.

    ~ Bounty (Detailed) ~

As a Revolutionary, your individual Bounty means Quite a lot. Unlike with Pirates, there is no "Crew Bounty" because there is no crew that you are apart of.

One's Bounty as a Revolutionary is the number of points that a Revolutionary has gained throughout his time as a Revolutionary. Any task completed this person will cause their Bounty to increase, no matter the type. Any Revolutionary can establish his/Her Bounty. The only way you can incur a higher Bounty is if you actually do something for the Revolutionary Army. If you are in a task with someone else and you do not participate in any way, then you will not gain any Bounty.

New* You may Work with other Affiliations but you must have a good, long reason why you are working with either a Pirate or a Marine.

The rates for Bounty points in correspondence to the rank of the task you are doing goes as follows.

IMPORTANT: Accomplishing tasks Solo will give you half of the reward allotted. Yes the mission is harder however just because YOU choose to make the mission harder does not mean you get a reward, and we want people working together in a community driven role play. Only Usurpers Can do solo tasks and gain the full bounty.

    Upstarts:

    Coup Specialists:

    Usurpers:

    *New* Task Points

For Task Rewards the Revolutionary will gain a "Task Point"(s) Which they can then spend in the Task Rewards Shop. When you complete a Task you will be given a certain amount of Task Points in which you can spend on Beli, Special Gear, Weapons and other things like Stat gains or Special NPC to hire for your ship.
