Appearance: Einar isn't the most intimidating Marine on the open seas. Standing at the height of a mere 5'5 and weighing 148 pounds, this small and petite looking youth is anything but scary. Despite his lack of ferociousness he does have some peculiar traits that set him from the rest. His eyes being his most noticeable oddity as his irises are a deep sunset orange with small unfocused black pupils, giving him an almost demonic yet emotionless stare. Besides his eyes there's not much that sets him apart from others. His brown hair though tall and spiky, isn't much to look at. His skin is a light tan from being in the sun all the time.

And his clothes aren't very stylish and instead are very plain. In fact he enjoys wearing casual clothes compared to his marine clothing. Opting a white button down dress shirt, a pair of black slacks and a pair of nice black boots when out and about. However when duty calls Einar will then don his Marine coat over a wine red dress shirt and black pants that tuck into his black Marine boots. For accessories Einar only wears his specially made gloves that are meant to resist the intense heat of his devil fruit ability- the Heat Heat no Mi.

Personality:

Einar is cool and calm individual. His personality, or lack of therefore is always cold and aloof. A quiet individual he talks softly yet with complete confidence. Raised by his Marine father, orders and regulations is all he has ever known making Einar a very serious person who doesn't find much interest in anything but his job. He holds a strong respect for authority and considers Pirates as a disease that needs wiped out. However, even with his icy exterior and merciless nature he is not without some of form of kindness. He cherishes his friends and comrades and will do whatever he can to protect them from harm. He is very loyal to those he fully can trust and is even willing to break a rule or two just to make sure they're safe.

Other than that Einar holds a strong drive and determination that carries him through everything he does. His desire to become more powerful to protect the people of the world from harm has made him a focused yet clear headed individual who knows his goals and knows what he wants to achieve as well as how. There are times that his heart and mind get conflicted such as when facing morality with an order- or times he will hesitate but he is only human, and is quite young to boot. He is bound to make mistakes just like every other imperfect being in the world. He can be arrogant when he's confident he is going to win a fight.

He will even underestimate his opponent just because of how they act or carry themselves. The less intimidating they act the less likely the young man will take them seriously. This is a form of naivety as well as gullibility born from his problem of judging people he has first met. Beyond these flaws he also sees women as people who should not fight. He isn't sexist, but he instead he respects and practically worships the fairer sex to the point he thinks they all need to be protected. It's this blind white knight issue that often gets him mistaken as a chauvinist, which is far from the truth.

Behavior/Habits:

Einar has quite a few behavior problems and bad habits. For one when he is very judgmental. He sees first impressions as very important, so if someone made a bad impression on him- it takes a lot to change his opinion on them. He also has a issue with women fighting. Though not chauvinistic he very much thinks women are like dolls that should be protected at all costs. Not realizing that their just because their female that *all* of them need protected. Einar also suffers from a minor case of OCD. He requires his workspace to be neat and tidy in a certain way or he'll get angry and blow up at the person who messed up his stuff.

For habits Einar will click his softly when in thought. He also has a habit of spacing out even though he is thoroughly paying attention to someone. Often making the person think that he's ignoring them. Lastly, when disinterested with where a conversation is going he has a bad (and annoying) habit to walk away in the middle of it UNLESS he is in the presence of a superior in which he stays still and gives his fullest attention. He won't even space out when in the presence of a superior which is saying something.

History:

Born into a long line of Marines Einar was of the fifth generation who would one day take on the family profession. Well it was true that not every man and woman who was born within the Solberg family became Marines, none had every become a pirate. His family held this record with pride and was determined to keep it this way. So when Einar Solberg was born into the world on his home island known as "Sun Mountain". His father was already making plans to turn his son into the perfect Marine. After Einar's birth his parents no longer desired any other children and instead focused on their only child.

His mother, who married into the family was a simple nurse who worked at the island's clinic. She would always patch up the boy when he was done with his father's harsh training. He loved his mother very much and got the idea that since his mother needed protected, that all women needed to be as well. This often got him with arguments with the girls of the village but he just couldn't get it through his head, that not all women wanted to be protected. However despite this he continued to try and be the "knight in shining armor" for the women around him.

Years of training with his relentless father has turned the boy into a quiet and calm individual. If his father didn't train him physically then he was to be trained mentally and even emotionally. Eventually this had a toll on him since it turned him to a nearly emotionless young "warrior" much to his mother's dismay. It was when Einar was sixteen did he join the Marines like his father had raised him to do. After he said his goodbyes to his mother and the island's residents he boarded the naval ship and headed off to his training. Luckily his father's brutal lessons made Einar's Marine training feel like a stroll in the park.

As he was already used to the things that he had to do as a new recruit. So much in fact that Einar had moved up a rank within his first year. This led him on his first official mission with his captain and crew to a island that was currently being terrorized by pirates. When the crew got there however, they were quickly blown away by the sheer strength of the these pirates as they were unprepared for their skill and teamwork. Einar and the rest of his crew were told to scatter and find a field advantage by there captain in which Einar ended up in the island's dense jungle where he found a strange fruit laying on a stump. At first he ignored it and went to find shelter as the night came.

However as the night wore on he grew hungry and remembered the fruit. Deciding it was better than nothing, Einar retraced his steps and found the odd fruit still laying there untouched. Biting into the fruit he nearly gagged on how spicy yet bitter it was, but braved it and finished it to it's last. The nest thing he felt was his body heating up to intense levels to the point he thought he's melt. Screaming in pain and horror he attracted some of the pirates scouting for any of his comrades. What they found Einar clutching his head as a deep orange flame erupted on his forehead hands and and feet as the rest of his body was a deep crimson red- his originally brown eyes now a smoldering sunset orange.

Before they could react the young Marine jumped into action, striking down the pirates as they died from the intense heat. With his emotions under control now he rushed back to the ship where he found the remaining Marines and his captain finishing off the leader of the pirate crew. After that was done Einar reported to his captain in which he explained what happened to him with the devil fruit he ate ad the pirates he killed. He was congratulated for his rare find and incredible ability before they headed back to base. The following year his continuous achievements landed him a higher rank as a commander.
