Kill it while its young part.2! task2

With the nights arrival his anticipation has diminished as the moment of truth had arrived. Shadow had been asked by a mysterious pirate, no "revolutionary " to meet by the docks to learn more. Shadow found this to be convenient because he needed to gather information about the island so that he could succeed.

Shadow arrived at the designated location and waited for some time. As he observed his surrounding he realized that there were 8 pirates surrounding the the area he was in. They seemed to be going about their business but they were indeed of the same crew as earlier. They walked around the open building that shadow was waiting inside of and didnt seem to peak inside the large doors and spot shadow, he was safe he thought when Bert walking in. "Have you lost your nerve sense yesterday, you seem worried about those pirates" Bert said. Shadow stared at him for a second with a daring look,
"whats this all about."
"straight to business huh, no greeting?"
"i can see that your a man who likes to test one's patience"
"Thats no way to talk to your superiors, im the leader around these parts bacayaro!"

Suddenly Shadow had his hand around his neck and slammed him into the wall behind Bert. If the pirates didnt know of shadows presence they sure would now. There was now a hole in the wall yielded by the force of Berts slamming body. Bert winced at the pain in his back and the choking grip around his neck. His cane was on the ground and bert could barley pull his hand out of the wall as it was stuck,to grab shadows wrist and paw at it to let him know he desperately needed air. Shadow released him and he feel to his knees gasping for air. He quickly rushed upward from the ground to try and uppercut shadow, but he side stepped it and went to grab his extended arm , when he suddenly felt himself jerk sideways to the left as he saw Berts extended foot release the required force to dislodge him. He slide back about 4ft before stopping and locating Bert who now had his cane in his hand . Panting bert pulled apart his cane to reveal a scabbard and a sword. Shadow didnt know to much about who he was but he knew that fighting him was make things very complicated and it wouldnt turn out as planned.

"its been a while since anybodys shown me some fun, are we gonna play?"

Shadow turned around towards the doors and started walking before saying " Im not here for you im here for this town and my own accord."

Bert seemed relieved as his sword fell abit as he dropped his gaurd.
"You want to help?". Shadow remained silent, "The island is under revolutionary care" said bert " but about a month ago these bandits came here and started forcing away the business that the port town needed. Im here to fix this issue but i cant do it with a large force, itl cost problems and i dont need this town destroyed, please dont do anything crazy as it will ruin my plans and itl cost damage to the town. These criminals can be dealt with in a different manner"
"by participating in their crimes? i dont wanna hear your bs,if you really wanted to help these people would be free."
Bert stayed in silence"you see soon enough" said bert ."There is a boat thats going to their home base on a very small strip of land off of the island,i believe thats their encampment,but because of my job here i cant leave to go there or else the pirates shall find the truth about me"

Shadow stood in silence for abit and then headed towards the door "il find out" he said. As he was getting to the door the 8 pirates had found shadow,they all had swords drawn and charged at him. Watching them charge at him shadow did nothing, he stared at them as they neared and a rustling sound was produced as his hand came out of his coat, "stylo-fingertip-tenshou" yelled shadow as his index finger shaped into a pen tip. He then produced a slashing motion across all of the pirates and and a large wave of black in streaked out of the pen tip as it traveled and then cut right the the mid section of the pirates. He walked past the mangled bodies and headed on his way.

The next day Shadow waited hidden by the docks, when they ship he remembered seeing began to depart. The crew had made all preparations and it was now about to sail when shadow snuck onto the back deck were no one was. He headed to the captains cabin and snuck in ,luckily no one was in the cabin and he got in safely. Shadow was worried at first but once he felt the ship take off he knew he had no choice.

Oddly enough not the captain or anyone had entered the cabin in some time. Since he entered he wondered what he'd do if they did come in, as he claimed he would only use stealth it would be interesting to see how it would play out. Fortunately the ship seemed to halt before he could continue to ponder.

He suddenly heard voices and screams, then there was a sudden shock, the far side of the captains cabin collapsed as a body slammed through. Shadow hid in a position that he would be able to view outside the hole...Then he saw it...A navy flag

Ching!, clackle!, these were sounds that shadow began to hear alot better now that he was next to the hole. It was a navy ship that had began a boarding mission with this ship's treacherous crew in sight. Marines began to jump across the planks and board the pirate ship endlessly, there must of been 50 on the boarding party.

Shadow had yet to see a captain, it seemed only regular marines were involved in the attack. Unsure of anything shadow began through the whole to his newly pondered destination. He knew he wouldn't have many options here at sea, so he started towards the rear of the ship. All around him Pirates were being stabbed and slashed, cut and pierced. Shadow could hardly contain his jumpyness, he thought at any moment someone would attack him off guard or something, but as it stood no one did. The pirates managed to stop the flow of marines it seemed by removing the planks and pushing their ship apart, but the plan was a complete success by no means. The mast began to tidier and brake at the base because of a marine hook from adjacent ship. Several pirates ran to try and hold it up,only to be cut from behind by competing marines.

Shadow had made it above his destination without combat! it was a miracle, he jumped down into the crew decks when suddenly someone yelled and charged at him, it was a wounded pirate. He came charging with a sword in hand, and blood saliva and snot pouring from his face and other wounds. Shadow waited until his close approach to side step him and allow him to pass, but before he lost balance from missing his target,the pirate felt a sudden smack in the mouth from the bottom of shadow foot. He had lift his leg backwards after the pirate passed and slammed his foot in his face. He fell backwards towards shadow and just laid on the ground.

A little unnerved from the situation, Shadow hurried along and approached what he believed was the prison brink. There were too large cell's, one holding 2 prisoners and the other was empty. Shadow choose the empty cell and locked the door after him. He wrapped 2 ankle chains around him but didn't lock them. He through a dirty potato bag that had a huge hole in it over his head as as a primary garment.

Shadow had no options, he wasn't going to join the fight, he had no idea who would win, and being on the losing side would get him no were. He couldn;t help the marines, he had no way to prove his innocence, yielding to the marines would take his fate out of his hands shadow thought.....or would it...

With time passing slowly as Shadow observed the sounds of battle, it wasn't long before he knew who was the victor. Gunshots and sword clashes began to fade, and then there was cursing followed by silence. A sudden chanting commenced that filled the cell brinks, "captain! captain! captain!!"

"Round em up boys, and throw em in the brink! We're off to Arlong park!"

" It was decided...Shadows next destination...!
